To say that I had a lot going on this weekend is to put it mildly.  In the course of six days I had committed myself to a bridal session, two weddings, a benefit dinner event, a sweet sixteen session, and a mini-session date consisting of 5 families.  I could feel it coming like the calm before the storm... wait... maybe not a calm, but maybe a little thunderhead and cloud covering that comes over before the giant wave hits.  I had to stay focused, be excellent at every shoot, every session, because that's what my business is all about.

So to start this off, I had an amazing venue and great weather for my minis.  It was my first time doing these, so I was not sure how much I'd like it and how I'd be able to stay on time with every family.  It was perfect! There was such a variety.  I started off with a one year old, secondly, a mouse and a cowboy joined me in their costumes!, then a family with a two year old came out to play and have fun, then I was joined by a family with middle school kids and then ended the night with one of my frequent clients and their two precious kids!  I had to keep myself in check, time-wise, because I didn't want to end up pushing back others and end up ruining it for the last group and missing the good light, but I still feel that I gave myself enough time with each group that I didn't feel rushed.  I had a blast and ended up making it to our church's trunk-or-treat just in time for the candy!
