I've worked with the Parkers for many sessions over the past few years, as their family grows in numbers and as they grow in age.  It has been SUCH  pleasure to spend so much time with them, and Emily and I have, in turn, become good friends.  Its one of the mega perks of being a photographer with super awesome (and loyal!) clients!  On the downside, after a while, it gets difficult to come up with fresh new ideas for locations.  This beautiful family always has some really fresh ideas for wardrobe (I totally think Emily should do a couple of blog posts about "what to wear"!!!), so I wanted to stay fresh with their locations too.  I felt like this spring-time session deserved something special... so we took it to the lake!  I was lucky enough to find someone willing to let us use their backyard and dock for this session... most lake-houses are weekend homes or vacation type places, so it worked out great!  I loved that Emily is showing off her baby-bump just enough that we could get a few maternity photos!  I guess our next session will be in late summer with the new baby!!!
