Meet Rachel and Todd... California man falls for South Georgia lady... the result: Newlyweds.  Rachel and Todd's plantation wedding was gorgeous for from beginning to end.  Considering that Todd's family is from the west coast, it was a true immersion into the southern heritage in which Rachel grew up.  The South Georgia landscape with its moss laden oaks and crumbling brick architecture gave off an undeniable romantic vibe to the day.  The age’s old venue lent a beautiful foundation in which to build a wedding with soft touches, yet gave a nod in the modern direction by using succulents and coral roses in the floral arrangements.  

The bride's Casablanca dress, gorgeously detailed with whispy hems, lace and satin was full of old charm and romance.  Watching the bride and her brother riding to her wedding in the horse drawn carriage warmed my heart, as did her descent down the terrace to her waiting groom.  After their grand entrance by horse and buggy, they greeted their guests at the cobblestone stables, which served as their reception area.  Beautifully uplit oaks with metal orbs gave off a soft light for Rachel and Todd's first dance.  The same florals as were used by the wedding party decorated the centers of each table, giving a thread of continuity.  The guests enjoyed a plated served meal, and then danced the night away, celebrating the newest Mr. and Mrs. Royle!    

This gorgeous couple was so gracious to work with, and obviously smitten with each other.  It was a joy to be involved in such a beautiful and love-centered event!
