It was coming up on the end of the Fall season when Cayla mentioned to me (again!) that she needed some photos of her and Ryan and the kids.  I say, "again", because we had tried to schedule this session for like 6 months, but something kept coming up (ahem, weddings!) that we just couldn't pass up.  You see, there's a common saying that goes something like, "the cobbler's kids don't have shoes"... and so, the photographer rarely has photos of herself.  She was over-due for some family photos and I was happy to oblige!  

If you're looking at the lady in these photos and thinking that she looks familiar, that's because Cayla is my second shooter.  But not only is she my second shooter, she's my go-to girl, my assistant, my practical brain when my mind is caught up in being creative.  She's also an amazing friend.  Cayla and I have been working together since the spring of 2012, but we go WAY back.  She's my husbands cousin, her brother was in our class at school, and her mother coached my middle and high school basketball team for a few seasons.  Cayla is as creative as she is beautiful, and never fails to inspire me with the images she captures.  I'm glad I could capture some for her at this session!  Much love to you, friend!!
